Felix Schoeller Group creates new scope for individual label solutions with ATTRACT

The Felix Schoeller Group from Osnabrück, manufacturer of numerous specialty papers for various industries, is now launching new products for creative label design. The comprehensive Facestock range called ATTRACT has been specially designed for the production of labels with high-quality surfaces and properties. The new papers are suitable for use in all digital printing technologies and serve the growing trend towards personalization and individualization with a high demand for individual labels.

Agfa to increase inkjet ink production capacity

In order to cope with growing volume demands, Agfa will significantly invest in the expansion of its inkjet ink production capacity. A new manufacturing plant will focus on water-based inkjet inks. The new production facility – located at Agfas headquarters in Mortsel, Belgium – will enable Agfa to serve its current customers, as well as to be a key supplier of aqueous inkjet inks for a wide range of novel applications.

Merger completed: Papier Union and Papyrus Germany are now Inapa Germany

With effect from July 1, 2020, the two paper wholesalers Papier Union GmbH and Papyrus Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG merged and are now trading as Inapa Deutschland GmbH. This completes the consolidation of Inapa Group, Portugal, parent company of Papier Union, Papyrus Deutschland and Inapa Deutschland, in its German business. Inapa Deutschland now employs over 1,000 people at numerous locations throughout Germany. The headquarters are located in Hamburg.

Sun Chemical and DIC Corporation Completes Acquisition of Digital Inks Business from Sensient Technologies Corporation

Sun Chemical and its parent company, DIC Corporation, have completed the purchase of 100 percent of the shares of Sensient Imaging Technologies and certain other assets related to the production of inks. The strategic investment in Sensient Imaging Technologies, a supplier of digital inks, will allow Sun Chemical and DIC to expand its inkjet ink capabilities and expertise using complementary technologies that will further strengthen the highest standards of services and solutions to its customers and distributor partners.
