Another milestone in the use of sustainable printing inks

With the ink manufacturer Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA, the EPEA Switzerland GmbH (Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency), and the global packaging and paper company Mondi, the Mainz cleaning products maker has developed a recyclable printing ink system for flexography which has been awarded Material Health Certification (MHC) GOLD.

Lessebo Paper publishes all-time low CO2 figures

Lessebo Paper has launched the environmental declaration of year 2020, based on 2019-year data, and reports a drastic decrease of CO2 emissions. The production of pulp and paper emits only 22kg per tonne finished product from Lessebo Paper, resulting in placing the company as one of the lowest CO2 emitters in the entire paper industry.

Lintec Europe opens office in Barcelona to support sales and operations throughout Spain

Lintec Europe has opened a Spanish representative office in Barcelona to provide local support to its customers within Spain. The company has appointed Andrés Blanco Flores as Office Manager to support the activity of Lintec Europe B.V. and to manage operations across the local region. The office became officially registered 25 June 2020 and Andrés was appointed on 26 June 2020.

Sustainable packaging delivers for all

In a business initiative to remove packaging complexity and improve sustainability, all Xaars printheads will be shipped in fully recyclable and biodegradable cardboard packs by the end of the year. This not only helps Xaar to deliver on its sustainability commitments but also supports customers own environmental initiatives.

Uljana Nowak takes over management of the Wallcovering business unit

Uljana Nowak has been on board at Lahnpaper since 1 August 2020 and is responsible for the wallpaper and painters fleece division as Business Unit Manager Wallcovering. Ms Nowak has many years of experience in the wallpaper industry, especially in international sales and key account management. Her customers include, for example, companies in the DIY sector as well as wholesalers and retailers.
