Effective immediately, or as existing contracts permit, BASF will increase prices for polyetheramines in Asia, Europe and South America by 5-10% depending on the type of product. BASF had previously increased the prices for polyetheramines in the NAFTA region effective May 1st at the same rate.
Effective July 1st, 2008, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices in Europe, Africa and Western Asia for polymer dispersions and additives by 80-100 per metric ton and for polymer powders by 160 per metric ton.
s of July 1st, 2008, BASF will be raising its prices in Europe for Terluran (ABS) Commodities and Styrolux (SBC polymer) by 100 Euro per metric ton. At the same time the GMP (gross market price) for Polystyrene will be increased by 50 Euro per metric ton.
