Mitsui Chemicals to Develop a Highly Active Catalyst for 1-Hexene Production
Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. (MCI) announces the development of its own homogeneous catalyst technology to produce 1-hexene (C6). 1-Hexene is mainly used as a comonomer for high performance polyethylene, and utilized as an auxiliary material for HAO-LL EVOLUE, a core product of MCIs group company, Prime Polymer Co., Ltd.

The Norwegian confectionery company Brynild Gruppen has found a true recipe for success for its Dent pastille. Since its relaunch in the market in February 2008, Dents sales have increased by more than 70 percent! A new package made from Stora Enso Performa White board is part of the new concept.

Sappi celebrates excellence in sustainable print
South African printers and the print industry were recognised and honoured at the 2008 Sappi African Printers of the Year gala event on Thursday 26 June 2008. Held in the Drakensberg, the event saw six gold winners being awarded the coveted printing awards, with Johannesburg based printer Ultra Litho again scooping multiple gold awards.
