Stora Enso has signed the first Pharma DDS packaging solution license agreements in the US and in Europe. Sharp Corporation and Stora Enso will partner in the contract packaging of pharmaceutical products into Pharma DDS cartons.

DuPont Signs Technology Agreement with Toppan

DuPont Photovoltaic Fluoromaterials (PVFM) has developed a proprietary technology to produce backsheet-containing DuPont Tedlar polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) polymer in a single step, and has signed a Technology Licensing Agreement with Toppan Inc. Printing Co. LTD, located in Tokyo, Japan, to commercialize backsheet for photovoltaic (PV) modules using this new technology.

Hadera Paper Ltd.: Negotiation for the Renting of Property

Hadera Paper Ltd. (AMEX:AIP) [AIPM] announced today that it is negotiating with Gav Yam Land Corporation Ltd., a company controlled by an indirect controlling shareholder of the Company, for a long term renting of buildings to be built according to Company’s requirements, on an approximately 18.5 acres in Modiin, for the operation of a logistical, industrial and offices center, designated for the Company’s subsidiaries and associated companies, partly intended to replace current renting settlements of the aforesaid companies.

Sonoco to Increase Prices on Tube and Core Products

Sonoco (NYSE: SON), one of the largest diversified global packaging companies, will implement a minimum 5 percent increase on all of its tube and core products shipped in the United States and Canada, it was announced today by John Colyer, Sonoco’s vice president, Industrial Products North America.
