TRELLEBORG FOCUSES ON THE FUTURE

Emanuele Taccon, sales director at Trelleborg Printing Blankets, has taken on overall responsibility for sales of Vulcan and Rollin products throughout Europe and Asia. Mr Taccon has been with Trelleborg for 13 years and his new role will allow a more focused approach for what are two of the industry’s leading offset blanket brands.

UPM Tilhill creates new habitat to help boost Dormouse numbers in Kent

UPM Tilhill has created a new ‘des res’ for dormice alongside a 400 metre stretch of Kent’s rail network near Wadhurst, East Sussex. The Hazel Dormouse (Muscardinus avellanarius) is a European Protected Species and is protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act. Across the UK population levels are declining in number and it is hoped projects such as this will help buck that trend.

Inside Innovation at Xerox: Plant Readies For New Era Of Digital Printing With More Energy Efficient Toner

Six 25,000 gallon tanks will find a home in Xerox Corporation’s (NYSE: XRX) EA toner plant in Webster, N.Y. this week. The arrival of the tanks will herald an era of more energy efficient digital printing, preparing for the production of Ultra Low-Melt EA Toner, a breakthrough product that can cut overall power consumption of digital printing devices by as much as 15 to 30 percent.
