UPM has signed a 10-year contract that guarantees the shipment of group’s paper products through the Port of Baltimore in Maryland, U.S., for the next decade.
Dow Performance Fluids, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”), announced that it has extended its marketing relationship with specialty and fine chemical e-distributor ChemPoint.com for High Temperature Heat Transfer Fluids (DOWTHERM , SYLTHERM ).
The European chemicals policy REACH came into force on June 2007. The first stage is now complete with the end of the preregistration phase on 1 December. BASF submitted some 40,000 preregistrations with the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) in Helsinki by the deadline, making BASF one of the companies most affected by REACH.
