Rheinische Post reinvests in Q.I. Press Controls!

This week the Rheinisch-Bergische Druckerei located in Düsseldorf has placed another order with Q.I. Press Controls. After good experiences on their KBA COMMANDER press they decided again for Q.I. Press Controls for their new KBA CORTINA consisting of 4 full-colour printing towers and two folders. The new KBA CORTINA will be equipped with Q.I. Press Controls mRC colour and cut-off register controls including the Air Purge System (APS) for automatic cleaning of the Ink Mist Shield of the camera’s.

Domtar to convert Plymouth mill to 100% fluff pulp production

Domtar Corporation (NYSE/TSX: UFS) today announced that it will convert its Plymouth, North Carolina mill to 100% fluff pulp production. This will require a $73.5 million investment, in line with the Company’s previously stated capital expenditure levels.

Metso relocates two paper machines for Chinese Shandong Huatai Paper

Metso has received an order from Shandong Huatai Paper Stock Co., Ltd. for a relocation of two paper machines to the company’s subsidiary mills in China. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The typical market value of this type of relocation project services is less than EUR 10 million. The order is included in Paper and Fiber Technology’s Q3 orders received.
