WEYERHAEUSER TO BUILD CELLULOSE FIBERS PROCESSING FACILITY IN GDANSK, POLAND

Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) today announced that it intends to build a new cellulose fibers processing plant in Gdansk, Poland. City officials in Gdansk, the largest port city in Poland, announced that Weyerhaeuser had won a competitive tender process to purchase 100,000 square meters of land for this project. The land-sale agreement is expected to be completed by year end, and the company plans to break ground for the 17,000-square-meter facility in the spring of 2010.

Rheinische Post reinvests in Q.I. Press Controls!

This week the Rheinisch-Bergische Druckerei located in Düsseldorf has placed another order with Q.I. Press Controls. After good experiences on their KBA COMMANDER press they decided again for Q.I. Press Controls for their new KBA CORTINA consisting of 4 full-colour printing towers and two folders. The new KBA CORTINA will be equipped with Q.I. Press Controls mRC colour and cut-off register controls including the Air Purge System (APS) for automatic cleaning of the Ink Mist Shield of the cameras.

Domtar to convert Plymouth mill to 100% fluff pulp production
