Stora Enso is launching new Ensocoat board for high-end packaging. The board is produced according to a new recipe that provides improved whiteness, brightness, smoothness and unique printability on both the top and reverse side. With its effective surface for various finishing effects, new Ensocoat is intended for the most demanding brands and applications.

Hexion To Raise Emulsion Polymer Prices for North American Adhesive, Textiles, Nonwovens, and Construction Markets

Effective February 15, 2010, or as contracts allow, Hexion Specialty Chemical, Inc.’s North American Dispersions business will increase prices by $US 0.05 (five cents) per wet pound in the United States and Canada for all acrylic, styrene acrylic, vinyl acrylic and other polymers used in the adhesives, textiles, nonwovens and construction markets.
