Hexion Specialty Chemicals To Raise Prices For Cardura, ACE, VeoVa and Versatic Acid Products

Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc., announced today that it will increase the prices of its CARDURA glycidyl ester, ACE hydroxyl acrylate monomer, VEOVA monomers and VERSATIC acids globally effective March 15, 2010 or as contract terms allow. This price increase is necessary due to the continued and recently accelerated increases of raw material prices.

This is mainly due to the strength, shrinking and expansion behavior, tear and moisture resistance, transparency, and inexpensiveness of PE. Thermal analysis is an excellent technique that can determine the shrinking behavior of PE films.
