U.S. Court rules that QIPC has no selling restrictions while patent infringement case is being decided
On Tuesday, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled that there would be no temporary restrictions placed on Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC) while the patent infringement trial takes place. QuadTechs claim, filed in June 2009, alleges that Q.I. Press Controls register control product (mRC) infringes on U.S. Patent 5,412,577 in both mark and markless mode. The trial date has not yet been set.

Metso will supply a complete tissue production line to the Hong Kong-based Max Fortune Industrial Ltd. The tissue line will be installed in the companys green field mill near Fuzhou city, Fujian province, China.
