The New York Times Company (NYSE: NYT) announced today the pricing of $225 million aggregate principal amount of 6.625% senior notes due 2016. The notes were priced at par. The Company intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes including, among other things, to pay down debt and other financial obligations as part of the Company’s refinancing strategy.
