Screen Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Akihiro Fujii as its new President, taking over from Takanori Kakita who has been promoted to the position of President of the Graphic Arts Company and will now be based at the head office in Kyoto, Japan.
Globally 40% of printers stated their company economic condition was good in 2018 versus 13% who described their condition as poor, the rest were satisfactory. This gives a positive net balance of 27%. For Suppliers the positive net balance was 19%. Both groups remain optimistic with c.50% expecting things to be better in 2019.
Xerox announced Anne Marie Squeo has joined the company as senior vice president, chief communications and brand officer, overseeing all aspects of global communications and marketing. In this newly created role, she reports to John Visentin, Vice Chairman and CEO of Xerox, and is a member of the companys Executive Committee.

Canon Deutschland GmbH has sold its subsidiaries for printing services – Canon Deutschland Business Services GmbH and Canon Deutschland University Services GmbH – to ASC Investment Sarl. ASC Investment is an investment company with locations in Luxembourg and Munich and will take over all of the approximately 300 employees of the two subsidiaries, which have 45 locations.
