Pitney Bowes Honors Three with Annual Invention of Year Award
Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) announced that a team of three employees was recently honored with the Company’s 2011 Invention of the Year Award at the 20th Annual Pitney Bowes Inventor Recognition Dinner. The Invention of the Year Award went to U.S. patent number 8,015,115 entitled, “System and Method for Providing Controlled Access to a Funds Dispensing Device from External Processors.” Steve Brennan of Farmington, Conn., Brian Hannigan of Southington, Conn. and Sam Thillaikumaran of Southbury, Conn. were recognized for their work related to the 2011 Invention of the Year.

manroland sheetfed wins 2012 J P Morgan Round the Island Gold Roman Bowl
Tony Langley’s TP52 race yacht Manroland Sheetfed is the winner of the prestigious Gold Roman Bowl for first boat overall on IRC handicap to complete the J P Morgan Round the Island yacht race, which is held annually around the Isle of Wight. Competing in class IRC 0, Manroland Sheetfed was the second monohull to complete the course, finishing in 4hrs, 42mins and 12secs to win on corrected time by just 3 minutes.

Christoph Stehmann Named President, Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies
