Printing Industries of America has announced keynote speakers at Integrated Print Forum 2012. Drew Davis, chief strategy officer and co-founder of Tippingpoint Labs; and John Lawson, chief executive officer, 3rd Power Outlet, will present at the conference, October 29-30 at Printing Industries of America’s state-of-the-art facility in Pittsburgh, PA.

Today, Thuringian Minister-President Christine Lieberknecht paid a visit to arvato subsidiary GGP Media in Pößneck, Germany, as part of her »Thuringia tour,« which is based on the central theme of internationalization this year. Throughout the course of 12 days, the Minister-President will visit around 50 companies, research institutes and initiatives with activities worldwide. These organizations are partly among the world market leaders in their sectors and contribute to making Thuringia more cosmopolitan through a number of projects. Today, GGP Media was one of the companies selected for Minister-President Christine Lieberknecht to visit. Of course, the »Thuringia tour« was not allowed to simply pass by Europe’s largest book manufacturer, seeing as GGP Media is looking back on 100 years of international success in the Thuringian town of Pößneck.
Leading manufacturer of printing blankets, Trelleborg, has raised 2,000 for national UK charity, The Printing Charity, by auctioning off a series of artworks which were specifically developed for the company by young, aspiring Dutch and German artists and displayed at its innovative stand at Drupa 2012, the Institute of Contemporary Print.
