Sustainable Green Printing Partnership Appoints Five New Members to 2014 Board of Directors

Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), a non-profit organization providing sustainability certification in the graphic communications industry, announces the appointment of five new board members to the SGP Board of Directors. The new board members are as follows: Lori Ashford (Robbie Fantastic Plastics), Marshall Atkinson (Visual Impressions, Inc.), Tim Bolton (Hexacomb), Dave Gens (RPI), and Jonathan Graham (Hewlett-Packard). Marshall, Dave, and Lori will be joining the board as SGP Certified Printers, while Tim and Jonathan are currently Patrons of SGP.

Wyndeham scores high in educational catalogue market

Following an excellent year for contract renewals in 2013 Wyndeham Group has renewed its contract to produce a series of annual catalogues for TTS Group, the Nottinghamshire-based educational resources supplier. The new deal runs to December 2016 and further endorses Wyndeham’s commitment to the UK web offset commercial market and demonstrates the Group’s diverse range of products and extensive capabilities.

Infantry man called up to engineering role at technotrans

Technotrans has taken on a Territorial Army man who has played a part as an infantry soldier in Afghanistan. His work as a refrigeration engineer is decidedly less hazardous but his eye for detail will be a big asset to the peripherals’ company which supplies temperature control, water treatment, inking, oil lubrication and filtration products.

Quad Acquires East Coast Commercial and In-Store Printer UniGraphic

Quad/Graphics, Inc. (NYSE: QUAD) (“Quad/Graphics”) today announced it has acquired UniGraphic, Inc., one of the largest commercial printers in the Boston metro area. The acquisition fortifies Quad/Graphics’ commercial and specialty printing, in-store marketing, and digital and fulfillment solutions for businesses on the East Coast. The acquisition also strengthens Quad/Graphics’ ability to service national retailers’ large-format and in-store marketing needs, adding an East Coast presence to Quad/Graphics’ existing Midwest and West Coast locations.
