Axel Springer acquires majority of gruenderszene.de
Axel Springer SE is extending its range of journalistic offerings and is acquiring a majority stake in the digital media company Vertical Media which, amongst other things, operates the gruenderszene.de portal. To this end, Axel Springer is acquiring nearly 90 percent of the shares in Vertical Media GmbH. Co-founder Mark Hoffmann holds the remaining shares. He will stay on board as Managing Director.
