Operating margins improve again
The celebrations marking the 850th birthday of the city of Munich will include an art exhibition entitled “Brillantfeuerwerk” (“Cascade of Fireworks”), which is to be held at Munichs Haus der Kunst from September 10, 2008 to January 11, 2009. Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) is one of eleven Munich companies contributing to the exhibition, and will be showing ten works by Max Klinger dating from the years 1882 to 1885. The etchings on display were printed at what was then the head office of Giesecke & Devrient in Leipzig at the end of the 19th century.
