Kinston Plant Celebrates 55 Years of Operations

The DuPont Kinston plant in North Carolina recently celebrated 55 years of operations as well as a revitalization of its operations with DuPont Sorona, a renewably sourced polymer that now is being produced at the site. Personnel Announcement: Change in Executive Board of Continental AG

Following the closure of the far-reaching Investors Agreement with Schaeffler KG, as well as Ms. Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler and Mr. Georg F.W. Schaeffler, Continental AG is opening a new chapter in its corporate history. Due to this, Continental CEO, Manfred Wennemer (60) has asked the supervisory board to be released from his responsibilities by August 31, 2008.

Amcor: RESULTS FOR 12 MONTHS ENDED JUNE 30, 2008

• Amcor announces profit after tax and before significant items of $369.1 million, down 7%. • Translation impact from the higher Australian dollar on profit after tax and before significant items was negative $32 million. • Profit before interest and tax for the continuing businesses increased 9.4%, in constant currency terms. • The final dividend remains steady at 17 cents per share giving a full year dividend of 34 cents per share. • Free cash flow of $112.4 million, after the dividend payment. • Significant items, primarily relating to planned restructuring, was a loss of $110.3 million, compared to a profit of $136.7 million in the 2006/07 year.
