Metsäliitto Group’s subsidiary, M-real Corporation, has today, on 29 September 2008, signed an agreement to sell its Graphic Papers Business Area to the South African Sappi Limited for an enterprise value of EUR 750 million.
Sappi Limited, a leading producer of coated fine paper and chemical cellulose, today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire the coated graphic paper business of M-real for Euro 750 million ($1.1 billion; R8.9 billion), subject to a purchase price adjustment for net debt and working capital.
