EMCCorporation (NYSE: EMC), the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, announced today that it has purchased 500,000 additional shares of VMware Class A common stock, bringing EMCs ownership of VMware’s total outstanding common stock to approximately 84%. The 500,000 shares were purchased from Intel Corporation.

Stora Enso is planning additional production curtailments in its Wood Products business area through temporary mill closures, shift reductions, efficiency measures and extended maintenance stoppages in Finland, Estonia and the Czech Republic.
