Neenah Paper Reports 2008 Fourth Quarter and Full Year Results

Neenah Paper, Inc. (NYSE:NP) today reported a loss from continuing operations for the fourth quarter of 2008 of $67.0 million, or $4.58 per diluted common share, including after-tax charges of $54.0 million, or $3.69 per diluted common share, related to the impairment of German goodwill and $3.9 million, or $0.27 per share, to increase current tax expense to reflect limitations on tax benefits associated with the Fox River acquisition.

Domtar announces proposal for reverse stock split

Domtar Corporation announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a proposal to effect a reverse stock split of the Company’s outstanding common stock (NYSE/TSX: UFS) and a corresponding reverse split of the outstanding exchangeable shares issued by the Company’s indirect subsidiary, Domtar (Canada) Paper Inc. Seiko Epson and Sony Begin Discussions Regarding Alliance of Small- and Medium-Sized Liquid Crystal Display Businesses

Seiko Epson Corporation (“Epson”) and Sony Corporation (“Sony”) today announced that they will begin discussions about an alliance in the field of small- and medium-sized liquid crystal displays (LCDs), including the transfer of a part of business assets of Epson to Sony. The parties hope to enter into a legally-binding definitive agreement by the end of June, 2009.
