SUPERFOS DIVESTS ITS US BUSINESS
Superfos has successfully entered into an agreement to sell its US business (Superfos Packaging, Inc.) to Berry Plastics Corporation (Berry), one of the largest plastic packaging manufacturers in North America. Pursuant to the acquisition agreement, Berry will pay approximately USD 82 million, including assumed debt, for Superfos Packaging, subject to certain customary adjustments.

Metso has completed the acquisition of the coater, creping and doctor blade business of Pacific International, a division of Pacific/Hoe Saw&Knife Company, located in Portland, Oregon, USA. Metso published the acquisition on August 4, 2009 and the businesses were transferred to Metso on November 12, 2009.
