Christian Reinaudo to succeed Jo Cornu as CEO of Agfa-Gevaert

During its meeting of February 9, 2010, the Board of Directors of Agfa-Gevaert has accepted Jo Cornu’s request to end his mandate as CEO of Agfa-Gevaert after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of April 27, 2010.

VIBRANT CITY OF BIRMINGHAM GETS READY TO WELCOME IPEX 2010 VISITORS

For the fifth time, the cosmopolitan city of Birmingham will host the international Ipex 2010 exhibition which will take place from 18th – 25th May 2010 at The NEC, Birmingham, UK. To ensure visitors can plan their visit to Ipex as effectively as possible, the Ipex organisers have teamed up with the Birmingham Convention Bureau (BCB) to launch a dedicated website about the Ipex exhibition in Birmingham: www.ipexinbirmingham.co.uk

Profitability improvement continued in the fourth quarter

Tieto’s fourth-quarter net sales declined by 10% and amounted to EUR 440.6 (492.0) million. Outsourcing activity was strong, but net sales from new projects remained at a low level. Net sales dropped in most customer industries. The public and retail sectors performed well and their net sales continued to grow in the fourth quarter.

McClatchy Announces 10 President’s Awards for Journalism Excellence in 2009

The McClatchy Company (NYSE: MNI) today announced the award of 10 President’s Awards for journalism excellence in 2009, many of them for projects focused on public service journalism. Journalists from Miami to Anchorage, Alaska, were among the winners, and four of the awards cited coverage holding governments accountable for corruption and financial scandals.

Stora Enso signs EUR 65 million loan agreement

Stora Enso has signed an agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for a EUR 65 million loan to be used for the Ostroleka power plant construction project in Poland. The loan agreement is part of the commitment by EIB to lend altogether EUR 230 million to Stora Enso for research and development and the Ostroleka power plant project.
