Screen (USA) has announced the introduction of a new multiple layer function for the Truepress Jet2500UV. With the multi-layer option, the Truepress Jet2500UV can print up to seven image layers without feeding the media a second time. This further improves the Truepress Jet2500UVs versatility and increases its ability to print double-sided window stickers and day-and-night backlit displays, along with various special effects, such as embossed graphics.

At Graph Expo, commercial printers can learn how to decrease their overall ink spend by up to 46 percent through the Sun Chemical Dispenser Program. Designed for commercial printers to manage what has typically resulted in an overabundance of spot color inventory and to reduce the possibility of having the wrong spot color, the Sun Chemical Dispenser Program can decrease a printer’s overall ink spend by up to 35 percent when blending the inks in-house and up to 46 percent if blended inks are purchased.
