Pactiv Commences Tender Offer for Its 5.875% Notes due July 15, 2012 and 6.400% Notes due January 15, 2018 and Related Consent Solicitation

Pactiv Corporation (NYSE: PTV), a leader in the consumer and foodservice packaging markets, announced today that it commenced tender offers for any and all of its 5.875% Notes due July 15, 2012 in an aggregate principal amount of $250 million (the “2012 Notes”) and any and all of its 6.400% Notes due January 15, 2018 in an aggregate principal amount of $250 million (the “2018 Notes” and, together with the 2012 Notes, the “Notes”) and related consent solicitations.
