Portuguese Textile Specialist Expands Premium Fashion Manufacturing Capabilities with Kornit Digital
Friday 11. September 2026 - Kornit Digital Ltd. announced that Portuguese fashion manufacturer Meamstyle has expanded its digital textile production capabilities with the installation of two Kornit Atlas MAX PLUS systems. With this, Meamstyle is now able to better support premium-quality garment manufacturing, agile fashion production, and scalable digital printing services for European fashion brands.
Based in Portugal, Meamstyle is a second-generation family textile business founded nearly 28 years ago. Originally focused on jersey products such as T-shirts and sweatshirts, the company has evolved into a highly diversified apparel manufacturer serving customers across fashion, haute couture, swimwear, shirts, dresses, and premium garment categories. The company operates both a full-package garment manufacturing business and a dedicated digital printing division supporting internal production as well as external customers.
Evolving with the Changing Global Fashion Industry
Meamstyle evolved alongside major shifts in the global textile industry as fashion brands increasingly demanded greater flexibility, shorter production cycles, and higher-value manufacturing capabilities closer to European markets.
To meet these changing demands, Meamstyle expanded into specialized product categories and premium manufacturing services. “Today, customers come to us for quality, flexibility, and technical capability,” said Pedro Mendes, Chief Commercial Officer of Meamstyle. “For me personally, Kornit is the benchmark for digital textile printing. We have years of experience with digital printing, and the quality, hand feel, color performance, and durability from Kornit are unmatched.”
The adoption of Kornit technology allows the company to respond more efficiently to evolving customer expectations while supporting agile premium-fashion manufacturing workflows that would be significantly more complex using traditional production methods alone.
Meamstyle selected Kornit’s Atlas MAX PLUS platform based on its print quality, production speed, flexibility, and advanced print capabilities.
“Meamstyle represents a new generation of agile European fashion manufacturers leveraging digital production to support premium-quality apparel manufacturing and responsive supply chain models,” said Guy Yaniv, President of Kornit Digital Europe. “Their commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and high-value fashion production demonstrates the important role digital textile technology plays in the future of European apparel manufacturing.”
Meamstyle expects the new production environment to support faster turnaround times, greater manufacturing flexibility, and broader application opportunities across fashion and premium textile segments.
