Enfocus brings PDFix Make Accessible app to the Enfocus Appstore
Thursday 03. September 2026 - The integration combines Enfocus Switchs advanced workflow orchestration with PDFixs PDF accessibility remediation engine, enabling print and documentworkflows to automatically convert incoming PDF jobs into tagged, accessible, PDFUA-ready output, with no manual handling required.
PDFix Make Accessible is designed to make it easier for Switch users to benefit from accessible PDFs aligned with required standards in their existing workflows. It offers improved document tagging, structure, metadata, document language, title, and more, reducing manual accessibility remediation work across high volumes of PDF jobs.
Printers can learn more about PDFix Make Accessible at PRINTING United Expo 2026, with live demonstrations from Enfocus and PDFix at Booths N6567 and C107 showing how the app makes PDF accessibility remediation simple.
Davy Verstaen, Appstore & Partner Manager at Enfocus, welcomed the partnership, saying: “PDFix Make Accessible brings automated accessibility remediation into the heart of the Switch workflow, helping print and document teams meet accessibility requirements without adding manual steps. Adding this app to the Enfocus Appstore marks a huge boost for accessibility, and we look forward to demonstrating its benefits to attendees at PRINTING United from 23-25 September this year.”
Jozef Baranec, Co-Founder & CEO of PDFix, added: “Automated remediation can significantly reduce manual accessibility work, and bringing that automation into Enfocus Switch puts it right where production teams already work.”
PDFix Make Accessible requires Enfocus Switch 25.11 or higher and runs on Windows and macOS. Use of the app requires a valid PDFix SDK licence.
