Solimar Systems enables ABT Mailcom to Significantly Cut File Processing
Wednesday 08. July 2026 - Solimar Systems announced that ABT Mailcom has transformed its end-to-end production workflow using the Solimar Chemistry Platform. Delivered in partnership with Hansen360 and RISO, the implementation has reduced file processing from 1530 minutes to approximately 2.5 minutes per job, expanded inserter-ready capabilities from 4 pages to 78 pages per mail piece, and enabled the team to confidently process nearly one million tax notices during peak season.
Based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, ABT Mailcom has served small- to mid-sized organizations for more than two decades. As demand accelerated — driven in part by the acquisition of Mailcom Consulting and a growing municipal billing portfolio — Production Manager and Partner Kevin Poeschel, recipient of the 2025 USPS Bronze Industry Member of the Year Award, identified an opportunity to invest in the automation needed to sustain continued growth.
“We had solid processes in place, but I could see that automation would let us take on more work without proportionally increasing complexity,” said Kevin Poeschel, Production Manager and Partner at ABT Mailcom. “Partnering with Solimar Systems, Hansen360, and RISO gave us everything we needed in a unified solution. We’re now building new workflows ourselves — that self-sufficiency was exactly what we wanted.”
The Solimar Chemistry Platform solution stack includes ReadyPDF for file optimization and SOLfusion and Rubika for workflow orchestration and document processing. Together, these solutions transform incoming files into production-ready output — with automated page separation, barcode application, and postal optimization through BCC Software integration.
“Working with Kevin and the ABT Mailcom team has been a genuine pleasure,” said Mary Ann Rowan, Chief Experience Officer at Solimar Systems. “Kevin is a swift learner and a driven leader who isn’t afraid to push boundaries. We’re thrilled to welcome him as a member of our 2026 Solimar Customer Advisory Council — his insights and practical perspective will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our solutions.”
Hansen360 led implementation with a phased approach that delivered immediate value while laying the foundation for comprehensive automation, prioritizing knowledge transfer so ABT could operate and evolve the solution independently.
“ABT Mailcom didn’t need an enterprise-scale implementation — they needed right-sized automation that would grow with them,” said Hansen Longfellow, President of Hansen360. “Kevin was incredibly engaged throughout the process, which allowed us to design solutions that fit exactly how ABT operates. That kind of partnership is how we define success.”
RISO played a pivotal role early in the engagement, providing test files to validate the solution architecture and offering financing options tailored to ABT’s investment timeline.
“ABT Mailcom is exactly the kind of growth-oriented operation we love to support,” said Maggie Curry, National Sales Manager, RISO Production Printing Systems. “By aligning financing with their business model and collaborating closely with Solimar Systems and Hansen360, we helped make a significant infrastructure investment achievable — and the results speak for themselves.”
