Friday 07. June 2024 - Summa is thrilled to be part of Drupa 2024, the epicentre of the printing industry, from May 28th to June 7th at Messe Dusseldorf. Together with Valiani, we will be showcasing our innovative packaging solutions in Hall 8b, Booth C02.

Whether you want to create long- or short-run packaging, Summa has the solution for you! Not only that, but we can also help you automate your workflow and make it as fast and efficient as possible. Our wide range of available tools and all the different materials you can cut, route, crease, and more means you can easily open doors to new offerings and even new industries.
F Series Versatility
The F1612 is Summa’s smallest and most popular flatbed cutter. Despite its compact size, it packs a punch in terms of functionality, making it a perfect fit for businesses of all sizes. Its versatility and adaptability are key features that make this machine so great.
In fact, during DRUPA, we will demonstrate a variety of materials and tools on the F1612, including:
The NEW corrugated tool will be used to cut displays on EE Flute material and packaging on B Flute.
The NEW bevel cut tool and electronic oscillating tool (EOT) will create cute birdhouses out of Oppboga.
The kiss-cut tool will be used to cut folding cardboard, and our 25 mm diameter creasing tool will create the perfect fold lines.
The kiss-cut tool will also create fun stickers out of YupoJelly.
Cutting Automation at its finest
What’s more, Summa will demonstrate an automated cutting workflow for packaging. Discover how our solutions optimise your cutting workflow and make your production more efficient and effective!
The workflow is designed as follows:
The Sheet Feed 75 feeds different folding carton designs to the cutting machine.
The F1612 flatbed cutter cuts and creases the material quickly and easily.
The Cobot picks up the material and correctly places the different designs in their pre-assigned places on the table.
Our GoConnect software connects the Sheet Feed 75 and Cobot to the F1612 flatbed cutter.

Plenty of Summa and Valiani cutting machines will be present at the DRUPA show, and we will hold live demonstrations for all of them!
