ORAFOL at FESPA 2024: New developments for car wrapping and digital printing materials
Saturday 09. March 2024 - ORAFOL, a leading company in the development and production of self-adhesive special films for the graphic industry, will present a series of new products for full car wrapping and in the field of digital printing materials at the leading international trade exhibition FESPA.
ORAFOL will demonstrate live car wrapping to trade visitors on all days of the fair at booth G60 in hall 5. In addition, consulting is available concerning the application of multi-layer cast and digitally printable films for car wrapping and other areas of application.
New colours and improved repositionability for high-quality full and partial car wrapping
ORAFOL provides ORACAL 970RA Premium Wrapping Cast multi-layer high-performance PVC films especially for full car wrapping. The new colours Turbo turquoise, Enchanted violet, Citrus fury, and Riviera rush are available in the versions standard and sparkling. The colour spectrum of the entire product line thus includes 133 different colours. They can be simulated digitally in 3D at FESPA at the ORAFOL booth. ORAFOL car wrapping films are designed to provide excellent dimensional stability and are ideally suited for use on curved surfaces, in beading and over rivets.
Twenty colour variants of the proven ORAFOL car wrapping films are now also equipped with ProSlide technology and are available under the product name ORACAL 970RA+. In addition to the excellent dimensional stability and adaptability of the films, the ProSlide technology enables even better repositionability and thus easy and quick application.
Live car wrapping takes place on all four days of the trade fair at the ORAFOL booth. Visitors can convince themselves of the quality of the new colours of ORACAL 970RA Premium Wrapping Cast and ask experts questions about professional processing.
Digital printing materials for a wide range of applications
ORAFOL provides a wide range of films, laminates and accessories for high-quality digital printing. A new product in the portfolio is the ORAGUARD 213 laminate for digitally printed large-screen formats for indoor and outdoor use. The partially polymeric PVC film with high UV protection is optimally matched to the partially polymer digital printing films ORAJET 3651 / ORAJET 3651RA and ORAJET 3165 / ORAJET 3165RA – available in glossy, semi-gloss and matt surfaces.
For high-quality car wrapping with digitally printable films ORAFOL provides, for example, the Premium Digital Printing Cast PU ORAJET 3971RA+ made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which was developed as a PVC-free alternative, especially for use on vehicles. The ORAFOL technologies RapidAir and ProSlide make it possible to apply the product precisely and easily even on complex surfaces with deep beading and curvature. Particularly sustainable results are achieved by the combined application with the PVC-free laminate ORAGUARD 279.
With the products ORAJET 3971RA+ Premium Digital Printing Cast PU and ORAGUARD 279, ORAFOL is also sponsoring the World Wrap Masters, which will take place from 19-22 March 2024 as part of FESPA.
