UKs packaging and label experts set to discuss future of the industry at new Esko event

Tuesday 25. April 2023 - Packaging producers, suppliers and technology developers are set discuss the future of the label and packaging supply chain this summer at the first Packaging & Label Forum, a new event from Esko in association with some of the other biggest names in the sector.

Two-day Packaging & Label Forum brings together professionals from across sector
From 7-8 June 2023, the two-day event will give packaging and label professionals the unique opportunity to network with suppliers from across the industry, to participate in open mic sessions, to share and learn tips and tricks, receive expert technical advice, and hear from industry leaders and keynote speakers. Held at Holywell Park, Loughborough, the inaugural Packaging & Label Forum will include presentations and speakers from companies including HP, CERM, DuPont, Asahi, GMG, AV Flexographic and more.
“This one-of-a-kind, multi-zone event will feature discussions on the topics that are top of the agenda for businesses in 2023,” said James Mason, Esko Regional Business Director. “We’ll take an in-depth look at everything from how market dynamics are fueling the need for operational efficiency through to how automation and lean manufacturing are helping drive efficiency and sustainability.
“With the support of our global partners, we’ve prepared a packed agenda of discussions and demonstrations that will address the challenges the industry faces today, while looking to the future,” said James. “For example we’ll examine the findings of FIAUK research into key market insights of the flexographic industry operating in the UK, while our friends at Ecoveritas will unpack the future of UK packaging policy.
“From labels and folding cartons to corrugated and flexibles, this gathering will bring together experts and professionals from all segments of the packaging industry,” he added. “We’ll also take a deep dive look at our latest software release, specifically developed to enable businesses to unlock even more tangible value through improving ways of working, eradicating waste and optimizing operational processes.
“So whether you’re looking to explore the marketplace, attend one of the rotating training sessions, or simply catch up with old colleagues over dinner and drinks, the Packaging & Label Forum has something for everyone.”
Registration for the two-day event is free, with complimentary lunch and coffee. On the evening of 7 June, subject to availability, there will also be a complimentary dinner and live band entertainment.
