CCE International: Europes important industry event for the corrugated and folding carton industry

Wednesday 30. November 2022 - The show integrates the offerings of InPrint Munich and will run concurrently with ICE Europe, the worlds leading show for converting flexible, web-based materials, making it attractive for both exhibitors and visitors.

The 6th International Trade Fair for the Corrugated Board and Folding Carton Industry will return to Munich from 14 to 16 March 2023. As Europe’s only event for the production and processing of corrugated board and folding cartons, CCE International is an important hotspot for industry experts. The show integrates the offerings of InPrint Munich and will run concurrently with ICE Europe, the world’s leading show for converting flexible, web-based materials, making it attractive for both exhibitors and visitors.
Given the pandemic and political situation facing the industry, the outlook for companies in the corrugated and folding carton industry remains promising, but also challenging. While high raw material, labour, energy and logistics costs pose significant challenges to the industry, corrugated board is enjoying increasing popularity. The ever-growing demand in online trade and the ongoing debate about sustainability and circular economy lead to positive market forecasts. In addition, the progress of digitalisation offers new opportunities and possibilities.
“With the advancing technological development of machines, processes and systems for the production and processing of corrugated and folding cartons, digitalisation has become an important driver in this industry over the last ten years. CCE International is an important platform that enables suppliers of materials, machinery, technologies and accessories to market their products to a target audience. This show provides a valuable framework to drive innovation through technical exchange between manufacturers and users of new products and processes” explains Patrick Herman, Event Director of Converting, Paper and Print Events, on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions. “With its unique focus on corrugated and folding cartons, CCE International has established itself as Europe’s leading meeting place for this specialised industry,” adds Patrick Herman.
Strong line-up
Suppliers of machinery and equipment for the production and processing of corrugated and folding board, such as Baysek Machines, Bahmüller GmbH, Koenig & Bauer AG, Kolbus GmbH & Co. KG, Sun Automation Group, EFI – Electronics for Imaging GmbH, HP PageWide Industrial Corrugated and many more, have already confirmed their participation. In addition, major players in the printing sector such as Xaar plc, Meteor Inkjet Ltd, Seiko Instruments GmbH, People and Technology, Siegwerk Druckfraben AG & Co. KGaA and Sun Chemical, among others, will represent the newly integrated InPrint Munich.
Open seminars
CCE International not only offers visitors a platform to discover the latest products and make industry contacts, but also facilitates high-level networking and imparts industry-specific knowledge at CCE International’s open seminars. Here, the latest trends and topics in the production and processing of corrugated board and folding boxboard are covered free of charge.
“Not only is CCE International Europe’s only trade fair for the corrugated and folding carton industry, but its academic education in the form of open seminars over three days sets it apart from other general packaging events. It’s a great programme that delves into important industry topics such as sustainability, digitalisation and much more. It also provides an additional platform for exhibitors to showcase themselves and their processes,” explains Gerlinde Kasa, Event Manager of Converting, Paper and Print Events, on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions. There are still a few speaking slots available and companies interested in presenting at CCE International can contact the CCE International team.
More information about the seminar programme will be released shortly before the show. Participants can also take advantage of additional opportunities and increased synergies as CCE International will be linked to other events.
Parallel events
Following its success in 2022, attendees can benefit from even more opportunities and synergies as CCE International will incorporate the offerings of InPrint Munich and run concurrently with ICE Europe, the world’s leading trade show for the converting and processing of flexible, web materials such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens, from 14-16 March 2023.
