HP launches Latex 2700 portfolio and HP Professional Print Service Plans

Thursday 20. October 2022 - HP Inc. unveils new wide-format printing solutions to help print service providers (PSPs) meet high demand and streamline workflows. They are thus able to grow their business by providing innovative applications at Printing United.

“To achieve higher margins, print service providers are always looking for efficiencies and technologies that enable them to take on more jobs while delivering superior results,” said Daniel Martinez, general manager, HP Large Format. “Our new offerings are designed to do just that: The HP Latex 2700 family offers improved print quality, faster print speeds and the ability to print with white ink. At the same time, the new Professional Print Service Plans enable print service providers to manage their fleets and operations, as well as improve workflow – maximising the potential of their business.”
Sustainable high-performance printing
The new 3.2m-wide HP Latex 2700 printers significantly increase production efficiency. They offer vibrant colours with print speeds of up to 89 m²/hr via symmetrical dual printheads equipped with automatic cleaning technology. Users can produce profitable jobs with a 30 percent larger colour gamut at high speeds, while maintaining the brilliance and feel for a variety of signage and décor applications – including thin films, vinyl and paper.5
The HP Latex 2700W printers offer the whitest ink on the market with print speeds up to 54 m²/hr, enabling high-margin job printing on coloured and transparent media. Automatic ink circulation and white printheads that can be stored in an offline rotation chamber eliminate unnecessary consumption between white print jobs.
All Latex 2700 Series models are powered by fourth-generation HP Latex Inks. These are UL ECOLOGO certified while meeting UL GREENGUARD GOLD and Toy Safety requirements. This allows PSPs to produce jobs even for sensitive industries.
In addition, the entire portfolio is equipped with HP Eco cartons. The carton-based inkjet cartridges use 100 percent recycled and recyclable cartons, as well as recycled plastics from HP’s closed-loop recycling process, including used beverage bottles and so-called “ocean-bound plastics”.
HP Professional Print Service Plans
