“drupa is the global meeting place for the industry and stands for innovations and trends,” emphasises Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf. “This is where we will see what influence, for example, the megatrends of sustainability and digitalisation will have on processes, products, business models and the future of a continuously evolving industry.”
Future topics in focus
drupa showcases cutting-edge technologies along the entire value chain of the industry with a special focus on future and cross-sectional technologies. Against this background, topics such as Circular Economy, Automation, Print/Finishing 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Platform Economy and Connectivity play a central role in the conference programme and special forums.
New key visual and new claim
drupa 2024 will present itself with a new, dynamic look and feel at the start of exhibitor registrations. “The new motion design of the key visual combines classic graphic design with modern digital technology and stands for dynamism, movement and especially for water as the most important resource on the planet,” explains Sabine Geldermann, Director Print Technologies Messe Düsseldorf. “It also visualises the top issues of digitalisation and sustainability, which are driving the print & packaging industry, posing new challenges but also offering excellent opportunities. International faces represent the drupa target group, which looks forward to networking in a fascinating atmosphere characterised by diversity. The organic structures stand for aesthetics, design and the beauty of nature. The new claim ‘we create the future’ underlines the clear commitment of the community to work together and proactively on the continuous development and shaping of the industry. And it stands for thought leaders as well as high-quality knowledge transfer.”
New exhibitor brochure produced sustainably
drupa is equally committed to the issue of sustainability, which is also reflected in a successful way in the new exhibitor brochure. It was produced sustainably and climate-neutrally by using the latest technology and environmentally friendly resources.
