PSI 2022: Great anticipation for an international reunion

Tuesday 30. November 2021 - .Meet industry partners, discover new products, view trends and experience inspiration. On 11 January 2022, the largest trade fair for haptic advertising and incentive products in Europe will open its doors in Düsseldorf.

The European promotional products industry will celebrate its long-awaited reunion from 11 to 13 January 2022 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.
With the PSI Trade Show, the international PSI network offers not only an order platform but also inspiration and innovations around current topicsWith around 6,000 members, the PSI (Promotional Product Institute) is the largest corporate network in the promotional products industry in Europe.
Successful Re-Start after Lockdown
In addition to the product show, the big re-launch of the promotional products industry will also be a celebration of the reunion of suppliers, retailers and consultants. Currently, 353 exhibitors are registered, 61 percent of them from abroad. First and foremost are manufacturers and importers from Poland, Turkey and the Netherlands, closely followed by exhibitors from Italy, Austria and Spain. There is also good news from the visitors’ side: associations from almost all European countries, the USA and Canada want to know at what conditions their members can participate in the fair. Experience shows that this points to good visitor numbers.
Looking ahead with responsibility
Regarding the current Corona situation, PSI trade fair director Petra Lassahn says: “More than a month ago we already recommended our members, partners and service providers to orientate themselves towards 2G (Vaccinated or Convalescent), because this way they are on the safe side. So we are well prepared. At the same time, we are convinced that the vaccination efforts of all countries in Europe will lead to the fact that after an incidence peak we will also see a significant calming down again.”
Inspiration and order fair
For the entire industry, this is of enormous, if not existential, importance. In January, promotional products are sighted, tested and evaluated, which are ordered for the whole year, but especially for the strong-selling themes: Easter and summer are ordered. Products with possible promotional branding for Easter will be on show at 31 exhibitors and 42 exhibitors will be presenting special summer themes. Exhibitors also expect strong demand for multimedia gadgets, which are particularly popular with the young target group.
Textiles and sustainability
PSI thrives on haptic experiences, this also and perhaps especially applies to the textile sector. In addition to the exhibiting companies, the PSI Textile Campus offers an ideal trade fair platform for knowledge transfer and networking in the fields of sustainability, corporate fashion, sportswear, workwear and textile finishing.
