Fachpack: Experience marking solutions live and digitally

Monday 30. August 2021 - What are the customers requirements when it comes to marking packaging? Topics such as sustainability, operating concepts and Industry 4.0 are the focus at the trade fair stand of German labelling specialist Leibinger - CODING AND MARKING.

Leibinger at FachPack 2021 and with a new website
In view of the still tense Corona situation, the family-owned company is relying on two mainstays: Live customer advice on site, but also the new internet presence should quickly show interested parties why Leibinger offers the right CIJ printer.
“We are taking the step towards normality and support the organisers’ decision to hold FachPack as a live event,” says Managing Director Christina Leibinger, explaining Leibinger’s decision to participate in the trade fair. “There is no substitute for a face-to-face customer meeting, and a trade fair is ideal for initial customer contact.”
All those who cannot come to the trade fair due to increased caution, entry restrictions or other reasons will benefit from the fact that Leibinger has invested in a new internet presence (www.leibinger-group.com) in parallel. Both online and at the trade fair, the leading question “Why Leibinger” is answered and it is shown how Leibinger CIJ printers increase productivity for customers.
Why clean something that doesn’t get dirty?
A decisive factor for an efficient marking system is the unique Leibinger Sealtronic nozzle seal. The technology prevents production downtime due to clogged printer nozzles: when production is stopped, the nozzle closes, closing the ink circuit and preventing it from drying out. When production is restarted, the nozzle reopens and continues printing – without the need for cleaning or flushing cycles. For Leibinger customers, this means shorter start-up times for CIJ printers, higher productivity, lower costs and consistently good print quality. A new video gives trade fair and web visitors a clear understanding of Sealtronic.
Sustainability in inkjet printing – yes, it’s possible!
Leibinger’s technologies that reduce ink and power consumption have positive effects on productivity, but especially on the environment. A thermal barrier between the ink circuit and the electronics ensures cooler ink and thus less evaporation and lower consumption. Completely drainable ink and solvent bottles further reduce consumption and cost per marking imprint and allow easy recycling without hazardous residues. In addition, each Leibinger inkjet printer operates with only 20 watts of electrical power consumption, so very little energy is needed to achieve outstanding print results.
Bottom line: Flexible and reliable
In the end, one thing is clear: if packaging is to be marked, e.g. with a best-before date or a batch number, flexible, user-friendly, future-proof solutions that fit the price are needed. And CIJ labelling and the Leibinger printer portfolio are ideal for this.
