Drewsen Spezialpapiere receives silver medal for EcoVadis rating

Wednesday 28. April 2021 - Social responsibility and sustainability, i.e. the subject of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), have always held high priority at DREWSEN. In order to make its efforts and improvements in this area more visible to customers, DREWSEN has once again been assessed by EcoVadis.

EcoVadis is an international leader in corporate sustainability rankings. Performance is assessed in four categories: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
DREWSEN’s hard work and continuous improvements in all areas were awarded with a silver medal after evaluation.
DREWSEN is pleased to be among the 25% of companies rated with top results by EcoVadis and aims to continue to work hard on the further implementation of its future CSR strategy.
As an example of our endeavours in the environment category, DREWSEN plans to invest in an open- space photovoltaic system later this year, in order to enter into renewable energy and to reduce our CO2 emissions.
In the area of new products from DREWSEN, our objectives are supported by the heat-sealable and recyclable PROSEAL, further details of which will be published in the next few days.
