Giving at a distance – with spring gift packaging from Schumacher Packaging

Friday 12. March 2021 - With its new gift packaging special for springsummer 2021, Schumacher Packaging, one of the largest family-run manufacturers of corrugated and solid board packaging solutions, is putting the spotlight on the true value of giving.

Those who cannot meet family, friends or business partners in person due to the current situation at least maintain contact at a distance with lovingly arranged gift ideas.
“Through gifts, we show our fellow human beings that we value them and are thinking of them – no matter where they are at the moment,” says Anna Schumacher, member of the Executive Board and the main person responsible for the gift packaging division. “In the current brochure, we emphasise the new value of giving: personal gifts overcome any distance and let people come closer to each other in their hearts.” All Schumacher gift packaging again bears the “Signed-by-Nature” logo as a sign of sustainable production.
Delicate, light, natural: the new “Happy Easter” gift basket
The theme of Easter has a special place in every spring/summer catalogue from Schumacher Packaging. In addition to the “Easter Eggs” gift basket made of recyclable open flute, the packaging specialist is presenting the new square “Happy Easter” gift basket this spring. Also digitally printed, this one captivates with light and delicate pastel colours that gracefully bring the modern Easter motif into focus and give it a natural, sustainable lightness. The square Easter basket is available in a flat and tall version, each in a small size.
In fresh spring colours such as yellow, orange and green, on the other hand, the single-coloured gift baskets made of Open Wave shine. Whether square or hexagonal, they are very popular every year as creatively decorated Easter nests. For occasions such as Mother’s Day, birthdays or weddings, Schumacher Packaging offers the “Heart” gift basket in red and cream in two sizes each. A colourful embossed heart motif on both sides serves as an eye-catcher.
Open flute: the classic in ecological packaging
Gift packaging made of open flute has a lot to offer both haptically and visually. Their firm structure makes them particularly robust, ensures an exceptional feel and at the same time convinces with visual sophistication. At Schumacher Packaging, all packaging made of open flute bears the “Signed by Nature” logo because it is one hundred percent ecological and recyclable.
This also includes the corrugated gift packaging with viewing window, which skilfully arouses curiosity and ensures a distinct product experience. The “Style” carrier bag with semi-circular handle and some gift boxes offer a glimpse of their hidden contents and thus increase the recipient’s anticipation of the actual gift. The elegant carrier bag is available in the colours cream, anthracite and now also in the Natura version. It is suitable for a bottle gift or for small mixed gifts.
The “triangular packaging” and the “gift box with window” are available in open wave anthracite. The latter can even be sent by post thanks to the matching outer box. This also applies to the “small gift box”, which is often used for small gifts or a Bocksbeutel bottle. Schumacher Packaging now offers them in open wave in the colours Natura and Anthracite.
Naturally stylish and sustainable
Designs inspired by nature are still in vogue. With the “Country” motif series in warm brown and beige tones and in a trendy wicker structure, Schumacher Packaging has suitable gift boxes and gift baskets in various sizes for every occasion. The digitally printed successful “Vintage” series also continues to impress with its attractive wooden motifs. “This ‘Signed-by-Nature’ packaging is made of untreated recycled paper and printed with food-grade inks,” says Anna Schumacher. “The topic of sustainability is also clearly in focus in 2021.”
Presenting bottles impressively with flexible sleeve displays
In the new catalogue, the packaging specialist also has digitally printed display solutions for bottles. The standard displays each consist of a sleeve display with three trays and a cover tray. Depending on the size, they can hold between 72 and 102 bottles. Printed with food-grade colours, they are available either in the classic “slate” look or in a trendy “vintage” wood design. The minimum order quantity is four pieces.
Since modern digital printing knows no limits, it can be used to split even larger print runs into smaller and any number of partial series. In this way, Schumacher Packaging enhances every standard display with individual printed images so that it can be presented in an eye-catching way at the point of sale – perfect for special promotions at Easter and Mother’s Day or seasonal and regional events. The minimum print run for a bottle display with customised print image is 52 pieces.
