Sharp complements its range of compact A3 colour printers

Friday 21. August 2020 - Sharp is expanding its portfolio of A3 colour MFPs with the BP-30C25 model. The system features numerous new productivity functions and groundbreaking security improvements. It has the same user interface and powerful workflow features as Sharps entire A3 range. Its compact and elegant design offers a wide range of applications.

New Sharp MFP scores with comprehensive security functions
The BP-30C25 offers powerful security features, including protection against firmware attacks and a self-recovery function that detects malicious attacks and resets the device firmware to its original state. A whitelisting function helps protect the device’s file system from unauthorized access. The new MFP offers print speeds of up to 25 pages per minute and scan speeds of up to 52 images per minute (ipm). It has a capacity of 1,850 sheets, and paper can be loaded into multiple cassettes. This allows users to select different types of paper depending on how they want to print, including labels, envelopes, DIN-A6R size, glossy or thick paper. Additional paper cassettes can be added as needed.
With a small footprint of just 57.5 x 63 cm, this elegant device fits into any office environment in a space-saving way. The easy-to-use A3 MFP also boasts a range of intuitive and time-saving standard features, including a customisable interface that users are already familiar with from other Sharp office systems. All functions are easily accessible via the 7-inch LCD touch screen. Sharp’s Application Portal also allows administrators to add and update applications directly on the device via the touchscreen display.
Best equipped for networked working environments
The new model easily integrates into networked work environments and provides easy access to numerous cloud services, including OneDrive, Google-Drive and Dropbox. Optional WLAN connectivity also allows documents to be printed effortlessly from mobile devices, tablets and laptops without physical contact with the MFP. The MFP system enables users to share information securely and access it anytime, anywhere.
Torsten Bechler, Manager Product Marketing Sharp Business Systems Germany, says: “In the new normality, companies need a solution that can be adapted to rapidly changing requirements and seamlessly integrated. The latest member of the BP series takes this requirement into account and helps to relieve the burden on employees who gradually return to the office. Thanks to its compact design, it can also be flexibly positioned at various locations in the office.
The BP-30C25 is available immediately from Sharp and its partners.
