Graphics software provider CHILI publish secures additional funds of 3 million euros

Tuesday 07. July 2020 - CHILI publish, a leading global provider of graphics software, has secured 3 million euros in a new round of financing. The investment will drive the expansion of the companys solution offering and business worldwide and particularly in the USA. In addition to the original investors Group MC, Pamica and Volta Ventures, CHILI publish is pleased to announce that PMV has joined as lead investor.

The current marketing matrix uses a combination of online and offline graphics for print, social media, digital and online campaigns as well as for packaging. As a result, creative professionals working in this field are under considerable pressure all over the world – they need to produce flawless graphics in a very short time. CHILI publish takes the pressure off with its in-house development CHILI publisher: the online editing software transforms ordinary design files into intelligent templates. The intelligent templates protect the CI guidelines, while variable elements can be changed dynamically.
The software, available as a SaaS solution, is completely browser-based and can be seamlessly integrated into all workflows. CHILI publisher is used around the world by large and small branded companies in the marketing, retail, cosmetics, food and beverage, and other sectors. The software is also integrated into a comprehensive system of external partners. Advertisers, brand owners and print service providers can thus offer users in their companies a self-service platform that enables them to produce online and offline graphics more efficiently for all purposes, markets and industries.
Kevin Goeminne, CEO of CHILI publish, explains the strategy: “Over the past twelve months, we have worked on making intelligent template creation dynamically available as a SaaS solution. We have expanded our team, built new partnerships and expanded our global customer base. The graphics business is booming for the foreseeable future, and now is the right time to act faster and better in the US. The new funding under PMV’s leadership will help us gain more market reach in the U.S. faster and advance our solution development roadmap. It will continue the initial support of Group MC, Pamica and Volta Ventures, and will further boost our vision for the future of the graphics industry.
The conclusion of Roald Borré, Group Manager Venture Capital and Head of Equity Investments at PMV: “We see a great acceleration in market and business digitization. For companies, this is an opportunity to invest in intelligent technology to optimize marketing. PMV recognizes the long-term technological and creative potential of CHILI publisher. We are delighted to be part of this round of investment with our respected partner investors and to take the lead. We are seeing first hand how intelligent and dynamic template creation can help companies take their graphic design process to the next level.
