Koehler Paper Group takes over the US company Beaver Paper & Graphic Media, Inc.

February 2020 - Koehler Paper Group, a leading global manufacturer of high-quality specialty paper, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Beaver Paper & Graphic Media, Inc. the leading U.S. manufacturer of sublimation media for the dye sublimation and digital printing industries. In 2016, the Koehler Paper Group acquired a minority stake in Beaver Paper and at the same time concluded a shareholders agreement, which has now led to the final acquisition.

Since its founding 40 years ago, Beaver Paper has grown into a global company that is highly regarded for its innovative, high-quality sublimation media. The company’s products are available in over 51 countries worldwide and are distributed by distributors and direct sales representatives through headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia and sales offices in Los Angeles, California, Willstätt, Germany, and Zaandam, The Netherlands.
The Koehler Paper Group, a family-owned company founded in 1807 and headquartered in Oberkirch, Germany, supports the continued growth and expansion of Beaver Paper with more than 213 years of experience in paper and energy and its global reach.
A seamless transition
As a member of the Koehler Paper Group, Beaver Paper will retain its headquarters in the Atlanta, Georgia area and will remain as innovative as before under the new leadership.
Beaver Paper continues its commitment to providing first-class service and quality products to business partners and customers. To facilitate seamless integration and ensure continued growth for both companies, Beaver Paper’s original owners will support the new management team during this exciting transition.
Koehler Paper Group is pleased to announce that Tobias Sternbeck has been appointed CEO of Beaver Paper and that Donald P. Burke has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, who will lead Beaver Paper’s finance and accounting team.
