Papier Union wins in the category Mailings, Selfmailer, Dialog Marketing.

Friday 13. September 2019 - The Fachverband Medienproduktion e.V. in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf presented the Edelmeister Awards 2019 on 3 September as part of InspirationWork. Papier Union can also look forward to one of the coveted trophies.

Agencies, media producers, print partners and digital print finishers competed to win the prize for the most creative print finishing. With 34 submissions in five categories, the award also confirmed its relevance in 2019.
At this year’s “Inspiration@Work” in Hamburg, six winners received their Edelmeister Award, including Papier Union in the “Mailings, Selfmailer, Dialog Marketing” category. The paper wholesaler had submitted the invitation mailing for the event, which provided the setting for the award ceremony.
The mailing was convincing with its elaborate personalisation and well thought-out design. The new scodix cast&cure technology was used for the first time in a large project. Thanks to the HP SmartStream Mosaic software, every invitation was unique. As a supplement, personalized advertising material was produced on YUPO and folex substrates – this combination was one of the success factors.
Rüdiger Maaß, Managing Director of f:mp, who ceremoniously presented the prizes, explained: “Not only the best submissions for digital print finishing are awarded prizes by the Edelmeister – with this prize we especially pay tribute to the makers and teams behind such projects.
Sven Bartels, Head of the Digital Printing Competence Center at Papier Union: “The award at our own event was surprising! But we are very happy about this award. For us, the award (and the response of the invited customers) is a confirmation that it is right to focus on high-quality premium products and not to define oneself by price!
The nearly 400 visitors to “Inspiration@work 2019” were able to experience the award ceremony, all submissions in an exhibition and familiarise themselves with the various concepts and backgrounds.
