MGI Scores JETvarnish 3D Triple Play with 3 New Israeli Prss Sales.Heret Packaging gets a JETvarnish 3D Evo B1

Monday 13. August 2018 - With 65 employees a full stock of machine, including a Komori H-UV offset press and a HP Indigo 30 000 press, Heret Packaging is a key player in Israel when interesting in cases, cardboard, packaging and box, for cosmetics, pharmaceutic, gourmets, wine and liquor markets.

Four years ago, the Printing House managed by Avi Noiman was acquiring its bery first MGI’s digital finishing press JETvarnish 3D in B2 format, enabling flat and tactile effect digital spot UV coating as well as hot foiling in fixe or variable data.
The goal of Heret Packaging was to be distinguished by enhancing its range of high added- value services, including packaging embellishment whose substrates or prints could not be processed through traditional technologies of finishing.
This acquisition was in line with Heret Packaging’s “One Stop Shop” strategy, which involves an integration under one roof of the high added-value solutions in order to offer brands and agencies a complete and fully-controlled service.
After 4 years of using the JETvarnish 3D and a full satisfaction, Heret Packaging has opted for the JETvarnish 3D Evo, whose B1 format is identical to that of its offset park. Installed in June, this press is operational since the end of the month.
Skitza: a trade finisher goes digital finishing
Innovation is clearly a central element of the renowned Israeli trade finisher Skitza, which was one of the first local manufacturers to develop in the laser cutting industry.
By opting for a MGI’s JETvarnish 3D B2 format, the company based in Tel Aviv suburbs has now a unique ability to offer local printers the possibility to ennoble their various productions whether it is book covers, booklets, packaging, business cards or commercial leaflets, with UV varnish in flat or in relief and / or with hot foil.
Working on all types of substrates, Skitza was truly seduced by the AIS SmartScanner, an exclusive MGI technology on-the-fly registration solution for JETvarnish 3D driven by Artificial Intelligence which scans each sheet to embellish, and that corrects the deposition of embellishment depending on the sheet’s small distorsions, allowing an immediate makeready of the press and a perfect registration.
Installed in early June, Skitza’s JETvarnish 3D is fully operational.
MGI signs its first Israeli JETvarnish 3D Web
Last but not least, MGI has just signed its very first digital press dedicated to the adhesive labels and flexible packaging market namely, the JETvarnish 3D Web, with one of the local leaders of the sector.
On its request, the name of this famous printer will be unveiled during the press installation next September.
