BW Papersystems acquires QUESTEC technology
BW Papersystems, part of Barry-Wehmiller and a leading manufacturer for the corrugating, sheeting and paper-converting industries, has acquired the QUESTEC technology from Ph-QUESTEC, based in Germany.

Toyo Ink Group to Establish Production Base in Myanmar
Toyo Ink SC Holdings Co., Ltd., the parent company of the Toyo Ink Group of Japan, today announced plans to make a full-fledged foray into the Myanmar market with the establishment of a production base in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone in Yangon. The company plans to set up in July 2018 a wholly-owned manufacturing subsidiary, Toyo Ink Myanmar Co., Ltd., with an initial paid-in capital of US$6.5 million. The new factory is scheduled to break ground in November 2018 with commercial operation expected to begin in November 2019.

Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) made significant progress with the Groups targeted digital transformation in financial year 20172018 (April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018). By the beginning of June, several customers had already opted for the new subscription model that offers Heidelberg products and services as part of a usage-based all-in contract running over several years.
