The manroland web STORE, the online service portal from manroland web systems, is specifically geared towards this customer requirement. It allows customers to order anytime and anywhere, quickly, conveniently, and inexpensively. At drupa 2016, already more than 20 customers have opted for the new manroland web STORE.

Customers have the flexibility to order wherever and whenever, whether at their desk or on the go by laptop, tablet, or smartphone: In the manroland web STORE, every printing house can find the exact parts suitable for the printing press in their individual spare and wear parts catalog, supported by user-oriented navigation and – where available – detailed exploded drawings. All parts are clearly presented with the respective material number and corresponding price. All thats left to do is to click on the chosen part and place it in the shopping cart. In addition, the manroland web STORE offer is rounded out by a general consumables catalog.

A comprehensive product database shows customers successor products, alternative and related products, different packaging units, additional accessories, and graduated prices. Many products also come with detailed descriptions, data sheets, pictures, animated drawings, and videos.
Product availability and simple ordering
“We worked closely with users of the manroland web STORE when refining the shop, which revealed just how important familiar usability, such as shipping options, is to customers. We have implemented this and many other requests in our new STORE,” explains Wachter. manroland web systems always keeps many parts in stock, particularly standard wear parts. The customer immediately sees the availability of the selected products in the shopping cart in the manroland web STORE and can select partial delivery of the immediately available products, or wait for the complete delivery. For shipping, the customer can choose from various service providers, including DHL and FedEx. Each order is confirmed by e-mail; the separate shipping confirmation contains the tracking number.
Simple shopping
Each order can be saved as a new order template for repeat purchases, or existing order templates can be added. The “Order history” function calls up all past purchases and makes recurring purchases a lot easier. Also convenient: The contents of the shopping cart can be uploaded or downloaded as an Excel file (.csv).
For Wachter, it is important to drive the workflow in inventory control systems forward: “The manroland web STORE can be connected to the internal customer ordering and processing system, making all relevant data available directly in the customer-specific inventory control system.”
