SpectroPad DigiPress debuts at DRUPA

Monday 30. May 2016 - BARBIERI electronic at DRUPA introduce the brand new SpectroPad DigiPress. This new SpectroPad version meets the special needs of Digital Presses.


BARBIERI electronic are manufacturer of high quality color measuring devices for professional digital printing and market leader in digital large format and industrial printing. At Drupa, they present a special version of their well-known and trendsetting SpectroPad. This version, called SpectroPad DigiPress, is the process control device for Digital Presses. It is the ideal tool to keep your digital printing process under control. Within seconds, the operator can check color accuracy (against industry standards), color repeatability and spot colors. The ability to store color libraries as well as create recall custom spot color libraries, make it extremely flexible and versatile. Moreover, it can be used for calibration of digital printers. It works according to and complies with industry standards in place.

The Spectropad is based on Barbieri “qb-technology” with real D50 illumination. It fully matches the measurement condition M1 introduced with the ISO standard 13655-2009 (additionally M0 and M2).
The touch display makes the operation and job selection a breeze – no matter whether measuring a control bar, a whole chart or just a simple spot color. The measurement results will be displayed immediately or can be sent through WiFi or USB to the computer for further processing. The SpectroPad is wireless, battery powered and has an award-winning design (iF product design award).

Application fields for SpectroPad DigiPress:

Process control for digital presses according to ISO 12647-7 and Fogra PSD. Supports Ugra/Fogra, Idealliance, Barbieri DOC.
