Hogan Lovells Renews Next-Generation Managed Print Services Contract with Xerox

Thursday 07. April 2016 - Leading Multinational Law Firm Improves Sustainability, Deploys Mobile Capabilities

Hogan Lovells, a leading multinational law firm, co-headquartered in Washington and London, renewed a five year contract with Xerox for next-generation managed print services (MPS). Foreseeing the benefits of a digital future, the law firm also added a host of digital services that simplify, streamline and enhance how the firm manages, processes and delivers service to clients.

“Hogan Lovells recognizes the benefits of digitization and the firm is taking the necessary steps to achieve it,” said Mike Feldman, president, Large Enterprise Operations, Xerox. “By tapping Xerox’s technology and services, they can now refine how they engage with customers, partners and employees.”

As an initial part of the project, Hogan Lovells conducted interviews with Xerox and other external consultants to uncover areas to focus their innovation efforts and improve business processes. The feedback led to an updated contract with Xerox that includes:

Deploying mobile printing capabilities, giving the firm’s employees increased mobility and flexibility; and
Piloting Xerox’s Print Awareness Tool as part of a Hogan Lovells Green Committee initiative, employees can track their print usage and take steps to improve print behavior – helping with overall organizational sustainability.

“As a law firm, we needed the support of a flexible vendor with expertise in areas such as workflow efficiency, data security, cost control, productivity, convenience and the environment,” said Scott Green, chief operating and financial officer, Hogan Lovells. “This solution is tailored to our unique needs and will help improve our workforce productivity and meet corporate social responsibility goals, such as our Redefined Engagement and Green Committee initiatives.”

As part of the agreement, Xerox will continue to provide MPS for office and production devices across 13 of the law firm’s offices. Support includes a wide range of services from proactive fleet management, white glove toner replenishment, national print and copy production centers, national fax routing, mail/messenger services, legal records administration, document scanning/digitization, and computer and conference room setups.
