Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America Expands Direct, Local Sales Operations with Sharp Business Systems of Texas

Tuesday 02. February 2016 - Opening today, Sharp Business Systems of Texas, combines high-end local service and customer support with an industry leader in MFP technology

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) today announced that it is expanding its direct regional sales operation in Texas with the acquisition of Meridian Office Systems’ customer service contracts. Sharp Business Systems of Texas opened as the fourteenth branch of the division.

SIICA purchased these assets of Meridian Office Systems to launch Sharp Business Systems of Texas. Meridian Office Systems has served the market since 1998, gaining a reputation for superior service and commitment to its customers. All employees of Meridian Office Systems have been asked to join the Sharp team and will provide seamless service to new and existing customers throughout Texas.

Moving forward, Sharp Business Systems of Texas will offer its customers Sharp’s award-winning line of advanced office products and solutions, including MFPs, display products, and applications for streamlining office workflow. The company will continue to provide the same high level of service Meridian provided to its customers.

Sharp Business Systems of Texas will be managed by its current President, David Gu, who is a 25+ year veteran to the industry and brings vast knowledge and experience to Sharp. “We are pleased to join Sharp Business Systems and are excited about partnering with one of the best brands in the industry to continue our strong growth,” said Gu. “We share Sharp’s philosophy of outstanding customer service and the delivery of high-quality products and solutions. SIICA has established 14 local Sharp Business Systems branches since the first branch opening in Arizona in 2006.
